The Sustainable Care Programme’s Advisory Board (AB), chaired by Robert Anderson, Head of Social Policies Unit at the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, supports the team to work in ways that will be useful for policymakers, practitioners and service users as well as for academics in and beyond the programme. At its first meeting on 1 February 2018, at the University of Sheffield, members agreed the Board’s role and remit and offered the team support and advice, based on each member’s own areas of interest, knowledge and expertise.

Board members in attendance were: Tim Anfilogoff, Herts Valleys Clinical Commissioning Group; Matt Dykes, Senior Policy Officer Public Services, TUC;  Martin Green, CEO, Care England;  Julia Mortimer, Journals Director, Policy Press; Alison Herrington, Ageing Society and State Pensions Analysis Division, Department for Work and Pensions; Principal Investigator Sue Yeandle; and Programme Manager Kelly Davidge.  Jon Glasby, University of Birmingham, attended the meeting as a member of the Sustainable Care programme’s Senior Team.
